Amy is a lifelong resident of Calvert County. She attended St. Mary’s College of Maryland where she earned a B.A. in History. She worked as the Group and Educational Tour Coordinator for Historic St. Mary’s City before moving to her current job at UMCES where she works with graduate education, curriculum, and accreditation. She has been an active member of the shared governance group on campus, chairing the staff council, co-chairing the mental health committee at her University, which aims to ensure all faculty, staff, and students have access to a listing of local resources, and she actively participated in the University System of Maryland’s Council of University System Staff. She enjoys getting to work with students and ensure they are successful during their tenure at UMCES.

“As a lifelong member of the Girl Scout Community, we were always encouraged to ‘do a good turn daily.’ Whether at work, home, or in the community, I try to take that sentiment to heart. I look forward to the work I can do with this organization to improve the lives of those in the Calvert and St. Mary’s communities.”
